The membership fee is £43. All applicants will be required to submit a CV, short artist statement and up to 10 images to support their application.
The annual membership fees for 2019 are:
Members (MRSS): £191
If you are successfully elected as a Member, your membership will not be active until payment of the annual membership fee has been received.
Established, professional artists who make sculpture in any of its forms as a significant part of their practice, whose work contributes to the language of sculpture and who can demonstrate a high level of expertise, experience, and contemporary understanding.
In addition to the main membership category, it is possible for members to be nominated as a Fellow. Fellowships are awarded by majority vote by the sculptor members of the Society’s Board in recognition of outstanding reputation, experience, and talent.
Up to ten bursary membership places are also awarded each year through the Gilbert Bayes Award for early-career sculptors of outstanding talent and potential. Current members of the Royal Society of Sculptors are not eligible to apply. Click here for details on how to apply.
Check that each of your image files 1MB or less and that it is a JPEG, TIFF or PNG file format.
CV: check that your CV and statement are either Microsoft Word docs or pdf’s, and that they have the appropriate suffix, ie: .doc, .docx, pdf
